The band had its’ origins in the mid-1980's as a four-piece all male wedding band consisting of drums, bass, keyboard and guitar.
A female singer was added to the line-up in 1988 to add versatility.
To further expand the versatility of the band, Gary Cierny joined Confetti in 1991, adding saxes and flute.
Dave Ukleja,Confetti's keyboardist is the only band member from the original four-piece.
Four of the five male members of Confetti gained experience playing in rock and roll bands performing Top 40 hits of the 1960’s –1980’s.
George Aparo and Tom McNeely, our rhythm section, also have extensive small and large ensemble jazz experience.
This background, plus the many years of playing experience of all Confetti’s musicians gives us a solid foundation on which to build our diverse musical repertoire.
